Mount Kisco Child Care Center is a non profit, NAEYC accredited Child Care Center, whose mission is to provide high quality care for every child in the community regardless of a family's ability to pay. We are seeking teachers who love children and want to be part of our MKCCC family. The Substitute/Floater Teacher supports the daily operations of the child care center by assisting in multiple classrooms across a variety of age groups, from infants through school-age children. This role provides coverage during staff absences, breaks, or when additional support is needed. Responsibilities include engaging with children in developmentally appropriate activities, maintaining a safe and nurturing environment, following classroom routines, and supporting lead teachers with daily tasks. The ideal candidate is flexible, dependable, and comfortable adapting to different classroom settings while upholding center policies and fostering positive relationships with children, families, and staff. Child Development Associate (CDA) or Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. Minimum of 2 years experience in an acceptable early care and education program is required. Must be able to work a flexible job schedule with flexible hours. Must be a team player and interact comfortably with all staff and parents.
