About The Position
The Wintergreen Interdistrict Magnet School Community is recruiting a transformative educator for our physical education program. Wintergreen was named a School of Excellence by Magnet Schools of America. The vision at Wintergreen is "to provide all students with a safe and nurturing environment that immerses each student in the arts, grounds them in restorative behaviors, and engages their minds to ensure academic and personal success". Teams work collaboratively to plan out content and to build skills that support the examination of themes throughout each subject area. Requirements
- Successful candidates must possess strong teaching qualities, care deeply for children and have good classroom management and interpersonal skills.
- Certification preferred and a bachelor's degree in a required field is required.
Nice To Haves
- Experience teaching physical education and a proven record of accomplishment of instructing diverse learners desired.
