5th Grade Long Term Substitute Teacher Join a true community as a long-term substitute in Plainville! Prior experience in elementary teaching preferred. Ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in curriculum, instruction, and assessment, establish strong connections with students and families, collaborate effectively within a team, excel in classroom management, and possess a sense of humor and enthusiasm. Exceptional interpersonal skills, professionalism, integrity, and the ability to collaborate with all staff members are essential. A bachelor's Degree and Connecticut certification (K-5) are required. Position is anticipated to begin February 1st and end TBD. Long term substitute rate of pay is $150 per day for the first 40 days, and then the BA rate of the teachers' bargaining contract.
