Adelphi is seeking a Substitute School Psychologist to fill a full-time vacancy within a school district in Oakland County, Michigan. Requirements

Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
Completion of an approved School Psychology preparation program meeting Michigan certification requirements
Ability to work 100% in person; remote service providers will not be accepted
Residency within a 45-minute commute of the assigned school district
Experience in data collection, analysis, and interpretation to support educational decisions
Knowledge of positive behavior support (PBIS) and universal strategies for managing behavioral concerns
Strong understanding of Special Education Law under the Michigan Administrative Rules for Special Education (MARSE)
Commitment to confidentiality, ethics, and professional standards

Responsibilities

Serve students across assigned schools within the district.
Conduct comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational evaluations.
Administer, score, and interpret educational and psychological assessments.
Identify academic, behavioral, emotional, and social barriers to learning.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to determine special education eligibility.
Develop and recommend instructional modifications, accommodations, and interventions.
Use data-driven practices for intervention planning and progress monitoring.
Collect, analyze, and interpret academic and behavioral data.
Consult and communicate effectively with school staff, families, and community partners.
Participate in school-based support services and crisis intervention efforts.
Coordinate referrals and collaborate with external agencies as needed.
Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential documentation.
Adhere to ethical guidelines, confidentiality standards, and professional best practices.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
