About The Position
The State College Area School District is seeking enthusiastic and resourceful substitute paraprofessionals for the 2026-27 school year to support classroom teachers and students. These roles involve reinforcing classwork, guiding activities under the supervision of a teacher, and preparing teaching materials. Responsibilities
- Guiding students in classroom assignments and activities, both individually and in groups
- Preparing teaching materials and equipment as per the class schedule
- Supervising students during activities such as recess and lunch
- Assist the teacher and students with cleanup from activities
- Perform all duties and responsibilities as assigned by the teacher or Principal in accordance with school and state policies and practices
