About The Position

Basic kitchen duties include: preparation, cook, and service of food ability to work in a fast paced environment and adapt to situation maintain food service facilities and equipment in a neat, clean, safe and sanitary condition prepare, serve and sell foods and snacks assist in the cleaning of the kitchen and serving areas, utensils and equipment other related work as required

Requirements

  • Knowledge of: Basic methods of preparing and serving foods in large quantities
  • Knowledge of: Type A lunch and breakfast program requirements
  • Knowledge of: Standard food service appliances and equipment
  • Knowledge of: Lunch and breakfast program requirements
  • Knowledge of: Arithmetical calculation processes and simple record keeping procedures
  • Ability to: Operate a variety of food service equipment
  • Ability to: Collect money and make change accurately
  • Ability to: Work quickly and efficiently
  • Ability to: Understand and carry out oral and written directions
  • Ability to: Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships
  • Ability to: Walking or standing for extended periods
  • Ability to: Lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects from 25-40lbs
  • Citizenship, residency or work VISA required

  • Degree Preferred and/or experience preferred
