POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Support campus administration, faculty, staff, and students Receive oral and written orders from building administrator Performs work according to stand procedures and by building operational schedule Makes minor carpentry, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing repairs Performs painting and touch-up painting Empties waste baskets Replaces light bulbs Sets up and tears down chairs, tables, and equipment for meetings Follows all applicable safety rules and procedures Additional duties may be required Work in a manner that reflects the character of Jesus Walk in humility – a servant leader

Requirements

Agrees with Cascade Christian Schools' Statement of Faith and Teaching Statements
Is a Christian role model in attitude, speech, and action
High school diploma or equivalent
Able to work well as part of a team
Must be punctual and reliable
Ability to move consistently for up to eight hours per day
Prior job-related experience in custodial procedures and building maintenance with increasing levels of responsibility
Skills to operate standard custodial equipment
Knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations related to the handling of cleaning supplies and chemicals
Superior customer service and relational skills
Ability to perform prolonged physical activity, including standing, reaching, lifting up to fifty pounds, handling, and fingering
Able to work independently and understand and carry out oral and written instructions
Flexible schedule: This position will require some weekend work
Willing to complete Criminal Justice fingerprint clearance, CPR, and first aid training
