About The Position

YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR MEETING WITH THE SCHOOL'S ADMINISTRATION FOR YOUR SPECIFIC DAILY JOB DUTIES. QUALIFICATIONS: 21 years of age Skilled in the maintenance of school district building facilities, equipment, and grounds relative to caring, cleaning, repairing and replacing JOB GOAL: To be responsible for cleaning and maintaining all assigned areas of the site building plant, facilities, grounds and equipment

• Skilled in the maintenance of school district building facilities, equipment, and grounds relative to caring, cleaning, repairing and replacing

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance activities of building facilities, equipment and grounds as directed by head custodian, building evaluator, or custodial supervisor.
• Follow state, school board and school policies relative to the safety and security of buildings, equipment and supplies.
• Maintain and/or prepare equipment and supplies as necessary for various

• Submit requests for janitorial materials, supplies, equipment as needed
• Work cooperatively with other custodial staff, head custodian, building evaluator, custodial supervisor, and other school district personnel as necessary to perform assigned duties.
• Adhere to schedule for routine and special tasks as approved by the building evaluator and head
• Attend in-service training as required by the custodial supervisor and/or building evaluator
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the custodial supervisor and/or building evaluator
• Follow federal, state, and Rapides Parish School District policies
