About The Position
Responsible for implementing the District's instructional program and educational philosophy in the subject area or grade level designated, in accordance with district policies, and procedures on a day to day basis. Regular and reliable attendance is an essential job function. Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors: Maintain emotional control under stress. Frequent standing, stooping, bending, pulling, and pushing. Move small stacks of textbooks, media equipment, desks, and other classroom equipment. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (Degreed Substitute Teacher) OR High School Diploma or GED
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior
- Flexible and able to adjust daily routine
- Demonstrate a professional appearance and attitude
- Must attend Substitute Orientation once application submitted
- There is a fingerprinting fee (approximately $50.00) associated with this application process
