About The Position

Responsible for implementing the District's instructional program and educational philosophy in the subject area or grade level designated, in accordance with district policies, and procedures on a day to day basis. Regular and reliable attendance is an essential job function. Substitutes are employed on an at-will basis and are not considered contractual employees.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (Degreed Substitute Teacher) OR High School Diploma or GED
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior.
• Flexible and able to adjust daily routine.
• Demonstrate a professional appearance and attitude.
• Must attend Substitute Orientation once application submitted
• There is a fingerprinting fee (approximately $50.00) associated with this application process.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with children preferred.
