About The Position

Come join Bridgeway...make a difference in someone's life! The role of the Substance Use Disorder Counselor is to provide substance assessment and treatment using a variety to modalities. Requirements

• Minimum requirements include a Bachelor's Degree, or have one to two years related experience and/or training or equivalent of education and experience.
• Must also have reliable transportation.
• Employment with Bridgeway is conditional upon completion of all background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical services (individual, group counseling, case management and early intervention services) to clients presenting with substance use disorders based on the American Society of Addiction on Medicine Placement criteria.
• Provide written and verbal reports to referral sources following all appropriate Bridgeway standards.
• Provide DUI evaluations and Risk Education classes (if properly credentialed and trained) to clients in need of these services.
• Facilitate urinalysis and breath testing as needed.
