Pyramid Healthcare is seeking a fully credentialed CADC to join our Concord, NC team as a Substance Abuse Counselor. This role provides structured, evidence-based substance use treatment while collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team to support long-term recovery and client wellness. This position is ideal for clinicians seeking a consistent Monday–Friday schedule in a professional, supportive treatment environment.

Requirements

  • Fully credentialed CADC in North Carolina (required)
  • Bachelors Preferred in Social work or other related field
  • Experience providing substance use treatment services
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in substance use or behavioral health treatment settings
  • Familiarity with documentation standards, utilization review, and evidence-based treatment models

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments addressing behavioral, emotional, cognitive, social, and spiritual needs
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
  • Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions
  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in the Electronic Client Record (ECR) system
  • Participate in utilization review (UR) processes and provide supporting documentation
  • Conduct Level of Care Assessments as required
  • Support discharge planning, aftercare coordination, and outcome data collection
  • Participate in the on-call rotation as assigned
  • Contribute to curriculum development, therapeutic resources, and staff training materials
  • Maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment, including crisis intervention when needed
  • Complete all required trainings and comply with program and company policies
  • Perform other duties as assigned
