Pyramid Healthcare is seeking a fully credentialed CADC to join our Concord, NC team as a Substance Abuse Counselor. This role provides structured, evidence-based substance use treatment while collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team to support long-term recovery and client wellness. This position is ideal for clinicians seeking a consistent Monday–Friday schedule in a professional, supportive treatment environment.

Requirements

Fully credentialed CADC in North Carolina (required)
Bachelors Preferred in Social work or other related field
Experience providing substance use treatment services
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in substance use or behavioral health treatment settings
Familiarity with documentation standards, utilization review, and evidence-based treatment models

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments addressing behavioral, emotional, cognitive, social, and spiritual needs
Collaborate with the treatment team to develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions
Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in the Electronic Client Record (ECR) system
Participate in utilization review (UR) processes and provide supporting documentation
Conduct Level of Care Assessments as required
Support discharge planning, aftercare coordination, and outcome data collection
Participate in the on-call rotation as assigned
Contribute to curriculum development, therapeutic resources, and staff training materials
Maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment, including crisis intervention when needed
Complete all required trainings and comply with program and company policies
Perform other duties as assigned
