As a Subrogation Specialist , you’ll play a key role in maximizing claim recoveries by investigating losses, building strong subrogation cases, and negotiating favorable outcomes. You’ll partner closely with internal teams and external parties to protect Slide’s interests while ensuring compliant, ethical handling.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
• Active Florida 6‑20 Resident All Lines Adjuster License
• 3+ years of experience with an insurance carrier
• 2+ years of experience in subrogation or liability claims
• Strong knowledge of Florida insurance law and good‑faith claims practices
• Proven negotiation skills with a results‑driven mindset
• Highly organized, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Commitment to living Slide’s Core Values

Nice To Haves

• Litigation handling experience preferred but not required
• Experience with Xactimate is a plus

Responsibilities

• Investigation & Case Development
• Conduct thorough investigations to establish liability and identify recovery opportunities
• Gather evidence, statements, and documentation to support subrogation efforts
• Collaborate with claims adjusters, underwriters, and legal teams to build comprehensive cases
• Negotiation & Recovery
• Communicate and negotiate with attorneys, third‑party administrators, and other carriers
• Drive fair, equitable settlements using strong negotiation strategies
• Maximize claim recoveries while maintaining professional relationships
• Litigation, Compliance & Reporting
• Manage an inventory of litigated claims in alignment with Slide and industry standards
• Maintain accurate records of subrogation activity, correspondence, settlements, and payments
• Stay current on statutory requirements and legal developments impacting subrogation and property/liability claims
• Ensure all activities comply with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards
