You’ll be responsible for validating and resolving health and disability insurance liens, helping ensure clients receive the full benefit of their recovery. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (equivalent education/experience will be considered)
  • 2+ years of clerical or administrative experience , preferably in legal, insurance, or medical billing environments
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills
  • High attention to detail with a drive to identify errors and advocate for fairness
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with attorneys and outside contacts

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with CRMs such as Litify preferred
  • Familiarity with lien resolution, subrogation processes, or settlement distribution a plus

Responsibilities

  • Review personal injury and workers’ compensation claims to identify and address health and disability insurance reimbursement rights.
  • Analyze payment ledgers and subrogation claims for accuracy, disputing unrelated or invalid charges to protect client recoveries.
  • Communicate directly with insurance carriers, subrogation vendors, and law firms to resolve outstanding liens.
  • Prepare reimbursement estimates and negotiate lien reductions alongside the legal team.
  • Manage online claim platforms (Medicare, Medicaid, and private subrogation portals) and stay up to date on changing policies and procedures.
  • Ensure third-party distribution orders are accurately prepared and compliant with legal standards.
