About The Position

Performs heading prep, blasting, and mucking duties. Determines the amount of explosives, placement, and firing of explosives. Operates underground equipment (loaders, trucks, etc). Requirements

• Must meet and maintain qualifications for working with explosives per the Safe Explosives Act.
• Working knowledge of utilities, services, and ventilation.
• Must meet the minimum Task Matrix Proficiency Levels for a Sublevel Miner 2. (See Task Matrix in HR Office)

• Working knowledge of small hand tools.
