About The Position

Army Aviation Logistics - Subject Matter Expert Overview of the Position: ECOMPEX, Inc., a premiere Government Contract (Gov-Con) service provider, is seeking an Army Aviation Logistics - Subject Matter Expert to provide supportive services for our government client. Primary Responsibilities: Review and provide recommended input to the Aviation Sustainment Strategy. Coordinate recommendations to assist Government efforts to synchronize aircraft transfers, RESET, equipment fielding, and modifications with the appropriate Project Managers and Aviation units. Provide recommended Aviation Readiness Reports to leadership. Provide Aviation Safety of Flight (SOF) information to Aviation units and track the status of completion of the requirements. Provide Aviation Readiness assistance by participating in rate reporting, tracking, trending, and analysis of all assigned Mission Design Series (MDS) aircraft and their appropriate sub-systems. Assist in developing strategic level load and movement plans as required. Coordinate with multiple Army Command organizations at various levels.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must have an active Secret security clearance.
  • Minimum of 10 years military aviation experience and direct knowledge of United States DoD/DoW military aviation operations.
  • Experience level equivalent of a GS13, Army Aviator, or Army Aviation Maintenance Officer/Senior Non-Commissioned Officer (with experience at the executive/Corps command levels or above).
  • Must possess knowledge of Army training, readiness, sourcing, and mobilization policies, procedures, and databases.
  • Must possess knowledge of Army aviation force structure, Force Integration processes, operations, and command relationships.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Army equipment transfer process.
  • Background in Aviation Maintenance programs.
  • Experience with Army Taskings and Orders processing.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with creating Senior Leader level presentations and correspondence.
