This position requires 10+ years of private sector contract / subcontract experience, with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in engineering/construction subcontracting activities for the oil and gas industry with experience in negotiating industrial gas construction contracts preferred. Reporting to the Director of Contracts, this role will manage all phases of the project subcontracts development process, including preparation of subcontracts plan, pre-qualification of bidders, defining the structure of subcontracts, risk assessment, execution of subcontracts, change management, project reporting during the life of the subcontracts, and formal contract close-out. This role will also focus on establishing good contractual relationships with subcontractors, facilitating a safe execution and closure of the subcontracts, minimizing any litigation and claims from the contractors, while preserving Air Liquide interests and priorities.
