Subcontracts Administrator This position requires the preparation of subcontracts and support documentation in accordance with departmental policies and FAR/DFAR/ITAR regulations. You must have experience in handling international procurements and suppliers

Requirements

Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years’ experience.

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Proficient in SAP, Excel, Word
Experience in writing compliant Cost and Price analyses
Experience dealing with internal/external customers
Must be able to problem solve and develop risk mitigation plans

Domestic/International Travel may be required up to 10-15%

Responsibilities

Support proposal initiatives and manage complex high-dollar subcontracts from supplier selection to RFP/RFQ submission, to proposal/quote receipt, to analyzing proposal/quote, negotiating proposal/quote, documenting PO, and monitoring supplier issues and delivery.
Perform cost and price analysis and assist with technical assessments of supplier’s proposals.
Monitor supplier’s delivery commitments and work with them to ensure contract delivery dates are met.
Ensure compliance with program and FAR/DFARS requirements and subcontract terms and conditions.
Manage long term, complex supplier relationships.
Demonstrate knowledge of government regulations (FAR/DFAR/ITAR).
Must have experience with international procurement/suppliers.
Build and maintain constructive, professional relationships with customers and suppliers.
Participate in program and subcontract supplier reviews.
Ability to work closely with internal customers (PM, Engineering, Quality, etc.)
