BETA Technologies Inc., is seeking a highly skilled Subcontracts Administrator (SCA) to support subcontracting and procurement of cabin systems products. In this role you will be responsible for end to end management of world class suppliers designing and building the electrified future of aerospace. As an SCA supporting the cabin systems team you will be responsible for the management of supplier cost, delivery, schedule, and technical performance of custom designed, highly modified commercial off the shelf, and other complex build to print components destined for the interior of our electric aircraft. A successful candidate will be a team player with an exceptional ability to multitask and manage multiple competing priorities. Experience in working with multidisciplinary teams in an aerospace environment focused on problem solving within the supply chain will set you up for success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or Supply Chain, or the equivalent in work experience
  • Experience in managing high-dollar, complex aerospace projects
  • 7+ years of procurement experience
  • Can travel to manage suppliers, attend key trade shows
  • Enterprise Resource Planning experience

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with composites manufacturing
  • Experience with joint-development projects with suppliers
  • PMP Certification or other project management experience
  • Working knowledge of AS9100 and aerospace certification requirements
  • Excellent negotiation skills

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the generation of Statements of Work (SoW)
  • Lead the development of Request for Proposal (RFP) packages
  • Lead the source selection process
  • Negotiate various contractual agreements, including comprehensive long term agreements
  • Manage supplier performance throughout the lifecycle of the contract
  • Mentor and act as a point of elevation for junior supply chain member
  • Act as commercial authority on behalf of the company, signing agreements as delegated
  • Prepare formal communication to supply chain
  • Act as the liaison between internal and external stakeholders
  • Schedule and lead Program Review Meetings, Cross team meetings, and Supplier Performance Reviews
  • Manage part shortages with suppliers ensuring on time delivery
  • Report out to key internal stakeholders
