About The Position

The Subcontract Manager position is a key senior member of the site-based subcontract team coordinating subcontract and service agreements through daily interface with subcontractors, service providers, owner representatives, field management team, project management team, and corporate support departments.  The Subcontract Manager will possess a commercial/contractual proficiency along with experience in subcontract sourcing, field execution, commercial management, change management, safety, quality, and project controls. The individual should possess requisite leadership skills to motivate others, work with others, coordinate efforts and require a minimum amount of direction from project or executive management. This individual will demonstrate effective communication skills and participate in the selection, training, and development of subordinate staff. Summary: Possesses prior subcontract leadership experience Responsible for medium complex, medium risk, fabricate and install or EPC subcontracts On medium to large size projects, responsible for the contract administration and field coordination duties Motivated leader & a self -starter Strong organizational & time management skills Capable of managing 6 staff members
