In this role you will have the following daily key responsibilities:

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education.
  • Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in Supply Chain Management (i.e… Procurement, Subcontract Administration, Subcontract Management, Negotiation, proposal, and/or Category Management).

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree.
  • Experience working on a red program.
  • Experience working high complexity/high dollar value contracts.
  • Previous experience with procurement processes and regulations under DoD (FAR, DFAR, TINA, and or ITAR).
  • Knowledge of SAP/P2P Purchasing System, PO Folders, procedures.
  • Experience with management of Cost, Technical, Schedule, Risk and Opportunity.
  • Multi-task in a fast-paced team environment and work well under pressure.
  • Possess effective relationship-building skills with peers, leadership and suppliers.
  • You bring positivity and enthusiasm to every project you touch. In addition to the work, you love being part of a team and working collaboratively through the process.
  • Demonstrated exceptional strategic communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation, to effectively communicate business cases to all levels of peers, suppliers, and stakeholders, as well as program executives, with an ability to persuade and motivate action.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the management of supplier cost, schedule and technical performance on moderate-to-high-risk DOD program.
  • Leads multifunctional subcontract management teams. Holds procurement delegation and signs supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority.
  • Leads the development of subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services for subcontract systems in support of development, production and global sustainment primes with multiple contract types.
  • Prepares bid packages, conducts bidders' conferences, develops evaluation criteria, analyzes and evaluates proposals, negotiates subcontract provisions including price, selects or recommends subcontractors, writes subcontract packages, prepares awards and administers resulting subcontracts and required change activity.
