THE WORK The Sikorsky Maritime System Supply Chain organization has an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to support multiple Sustainment Programs. This candidate will manage suppliers through current program execution and ongoing proposal efforts. The position will be responsible for the management of supplier cost, schedule and technical performance on moderate-to-high-risk and complex build-to-print subcontracts for DOD programs. Duties include preparation of bid packages, analyzing and evaluating proposals, performing price analysis, using cost evaluations for development of pre-negotiation strategies, leading negotiations, subcontract/PO documentation and placement, managing supplier performance, invoice reconciliation and payment, managing subcontract modifications and oversight and coordination with Raytheon for Sustainment material lay-in. The position will need to work with the program office and other functional areas of the business as required to ensure successful negotiations and subcontract contract performance. The individual will manage maintenance repair overhaul (MOR) suppliers, including an international supplier. A major program supported by this role is the Seahawk Performance Based Logistics Program (PBL) supporting the MH60R fleet. They will be a Control Account Manager performing Earned Value Management on supplier budgets. The individual will support the performance execution and Proposal activity for the Seahawk PBL. Requirements

  • Experience with contracts, proven negotiation skills, leadership, communication and interpersonal experience.
  • Results oriented and able to lead change management
  • Innovated approaches from concept to implementation.
  • Demonstrated Project management experience and ability to execute complex project which may require customer engagement.
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and (Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR)
  • Experience with Lockheed Martin Acquisition Process (LMAP)
  • Analytical skills for supplier proposal evaluations
  • Negotiations Skills including pricing, delivery and terms & conditions
  • Exposure to proposal activities including development of RFP packages and competitions/source-selections
  • Organizational skills to document procurement folders accurately and to LMAP requirements
  • Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment.
  • Self-motivated, demonstrated sense of urgency and accountability, and ownership of tasks.
  • Experience placing purchase orders through P2P system (Procure to Pay) and/ or SAP
  • Experience expediting suppliers or vendors
