About The Position

The selected candidate will be a Subcontract Administrator (SCA) who will provide procurement support to the corporate Engineering & Technology (E&T) organization. This entry level/early career role includes cross-functional collaboration across multiple programs in various stages of the program performance. The selected candidate will gain firsthand experience managing large subcontracts throughout their entire life cycle—starting from proposals, through execution, and into closeout. This is a unique opportunity to deepen your procurement expertise and grow into the responsibility of managing high-value subcontracts. The selected candidate will participate in the entire Lockheed Martin Acquisition process, starting with researching and evaluating potential suppliers, soliciting suppliers, reviewing proposals, negotiating, administrating contracts, supporting the management of supplier performance, and performing closeout activities. This position is a Full-time Remote Telework role, where the employee will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site, though employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college
  • Generally has 1+ years of related experience
  • May have a post-secondary degree or training in a related discipline
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding and applies industry techniques within area of specialization
  • Utilizes a range of concepts and principles
  • Develops solutions to problems of moderate scope and complexity
  • Work is reviewed periodically for the adequacy of judgement, overall accuracy, and quality
  • Contributes to organizational projects and goals
  • Represents on specific projects and teams, contributing to effective collaboration and problem resolution
  • Engages with immediate team members and external contacts
