THE WORK Subcontract Administrator Sr. in support of production, development, and global sustainment subcontracts on the MH-60R Programs Mission Systems for multiple contract types, acting as a focal point to major subcontractors. Work to include: - Prepares request for proposal (RFP) packages and conducts bidders’ conferences, ensuring adherence to LMAP - Develops subcontract specifications and work statements - Develops and negotiates subcontract Terms and Conditions - Writes subcontract contractual letters, evaluation packages, cost/price analysis documentation - Prepares awards and administers resulting subcontracts procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services for subcontracts - Works closely with supply chain program manager (SPM) and the supply chain management Team (SMT) to collectively obtain supplier results. - Negotiates and coordinates additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts. - Participates with contracts administration and purchasing to develop subcontract policies and procedures. - Selects or recommends subcontractors to program team and SMT - May sign supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority. Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree from an accredited university or college in a related discipline with 3+ years of professional experience, or 2+ years of professional experience with a related Master’s Degree
  • Experience in Supply chain, program planning, program finance, program management, operations, and/or engineering.
  • Proficient computer skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint with experience in writing concise letters, documentation, or internal and external communications.
  • Advanced written and oral communications abilities

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and (Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR)
  • Experience with Lockheed Martin Acquisition Process (LMAP)
  • Analytical skills for supplier proposal evaluations
  • Negotiations Skills including pricing, delivery and terms & conditions
  • Exposure to proposal activities including development of RFP packages and competitions/source-selections
  • Organizational skills to document procurement folders accurately and to LMAP requirements
  • Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment.
  • Self-motivated, demonstrated sense of urgency and accountability, and ownership of tasks.
  • Experience placing purchase orders through P2P system (Procure to Pay) and/ or SAP
  • Experience expediting suppliers or vendors
