Job Summary Supply Chain manages all aspect of procurement for the entire corporation. We provide the opportunity to be a part of a diverse team that purchases a wide range of products and services including IT, specialized equipment, facilities services and engineering, design, research and development, consultant’s services, and construction. As the purchasing agent you will provide your experience and understanding of Sourcing and Procurement of direct (under US Government Prime Contract) goods and services. As the Subcontract Administration Manager you will be responsible for full lifecycle management of the Government Direct Charge Subcontracts team. This role will serve as a dynamic procurement leader ensuring subcontractor agreements deliver high-quality work in compliance with contractual, financial and regulatory requirements across cross functional teams. The selected candidate will be required to work full-time on-site at our facility in El Segundo, CA. What You’ll Be Doing Develop and implement strategic initiatives to manage the full lifecycle of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) based procurements Review and validate procurement packages to ensure adherence to government regulations, including FAR/DFARS standards Formulate contracting strategies—deploying various contract types as needed—to support unique program requirements Oversee the timely execution of contract and subcontract awards within the Government Direct Spend category Manage a small portfolio of procurements while leading and mentoring the Direct Subcontracts team through effective coaching and professional development Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization to balance multiple priorities and ensure seamless implementation of contract and subcontract initiatives What You Need to be Successful Minimum Requirements for the Subcontract Administration Manager include: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field is required A minimum of (6) or more years of increasingly responsible and relevant professional experience in FAR/DFARS Government Supply Chain, Subcontracts, or Procurement is required A minimum of (3-5) years in a professional management role is required Advanced knowledge of FAR/DFARS regulations and experience with a variety of government contract types Proven leadership skills with a strong, people-focused approach and commitment to mentoring teams Demonstrated success in strategic planning, vendor sourcing, and executing comprehensive procurement plans Experience managing both technical teams and direct reports with the ability to collaborate across organizational lines This position requires ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, which is issued by the U.S. government. U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance How You Can Stand Out It would be impressive if you have one or more of these: Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field is strongly preferred Familiarity with SAP S4/Hana/ARIBA (source-to-pay systems). Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skills. Requirements
