The Sr. Subcontract Program Manager (SPM) is a leadership role within the Supply Chain function, reporting directly to the Electronic Attack Solutions (EAS) Supply Chain Director. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of a large complex subcontractor relationship that cuts across multiple program areas within the EAS Product Line. This is a highly visible role within the EAS Supply Chain Team, and the successful candidate will be responsible for the management of at least 1 direct report. This role operates as an extension of the program manager and is responsible for managing subcontract performance (cost, schedule, quality & technical) with support from a cross-functional integrated product team (IPT). In this role you will: Manage the execution of subcontracts for materials, equipment, supplies and services of a highly-specialized and complex nature through all phases of the program lifecycle. Evaluate, negotiate, and manage assigned subcontracts to perform to each project’s specifications, quality, budget, schedule and earned value requirements to include the timely delivery of all deliverables required to fulfill the subcontract. Author, manage and influence critical path releases of Statements of Works (SOWs) and plans to align with required schedules and subcontractor lead times Deliver quality customer service to both internal and external customers and foster and maintain good supplier relationships, while driving a Zero Defect mindset with suppliers. Participate in the support of new business and in the development of financial plans for the company, as it pertains to the planned outsourced portion of the project(s). Able to work independently, as well as manage dynamic cross-functional program teams on all subcontract related issues. Must be able to assess, prioritize, drive issues to closure and be assertive when required. Exercises discretion and independent judgment in the performance of duties. Exhibits best practice work habits and collaborates with other subcontract team members to promote operational excellence and completeness. Models and demonstrates strong leadership in ethics, safety, corporate responsibility, and security.
