Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment.
Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

Operate hand, leg or foot activated valve to stuff sausage into casings or molds.
Position on sticks and hang product to trees or trucks.
Check and set proper stuffer controls.
Select and position proper stuffing horn.
Soak and untie bundles of casings when necessary.
Service stuffers by bringing vats of meat to stuffer to dumpers and unloading meat into stuffer.
Place casings on horns of stuffers.
Operate stuffing machine, hang product, service stuffers, clean buckets, all part of rotation of jobs.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Crew Leader and Supervisor.
