Stuffer / Setup (stuffer operator) - 2nd Shift - Newbern, Tn
About The Position
Set up equipment, operating V-mag, while also being able to adhere to good safety practices, food safety policies, and company policies. Break down grinder periodically through shift to ensure quality. Maintain link weight while stuffing casing Monitor production area for trash and food debris on floor. Be able to adhere to Standardized Work Practices. Must be willing and able to work cycles in less than 20 seconds. Monitor production area for trash and debris on floor. Perform various other tasks assigned by Lead person, Supervisor or Manager. Must be willing and able to communicate effectively with company employees at all levels of management. Must be willing and able to become certified in LOTO Must willing and able to do basic math skills. Must be able to lift/carry up to 49 pounds. Must be able to work on and around machinery and chemicals. Must be able to perform the following task for periods of 8 hours on concrete floor, some of which may include but is not limited to standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting. Must be able to work in temperatures less than or equal to 35 degrees Fahrenheit for minimum of 8 hours. Must be willing to pinch/grip product and place into specified location.
Requirements
- Must have 6 months of continuous employment in the last 18 MThs
- Must be willing and able to work cycles in less than 20 seconds.
- Must be willing and able to communicate effectively with company employees at all levels of management.
- Must be willing and able to become certified in LOTO
- Must willing and able to do basic math skills.
- Must be able to lift/carry up to 49 pounds.
- Must be able to work on and around machinery and chemicals.

Nice To Haves
- Preferred candidates will have at least 6 months of relevant machine operator, warehouse, agriculture or production experience.
