Position Summary: This position is responsible for forming and hanging all varieties of hams according to proper weights, circumferences, and methods of hanging. In addition, this position sets up, operates and tears down various machines and stuffers.

Requirements

• 3 months of work history with the same employer
• LOCATION IS NOT ACCEPTING REHIRES

Nice To Haves

• Machine Operator experience preferred
• Experience in a manufacturing setting preferred
• RF Scanner experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Stuff product into metal forms and put the spring covers on the forms.
• Move up to 900 pounds of product on racks.
• Dump massages and put meat into the stuffer.
• Obtain hams from tanks, label, tipper tie, and hang-on racks.
• Pull netting onto horns.
• Obtain racks, hooks, sticks, forms, and supplies.
• Clear any jams on the tipper tie or sizer.
• Assist with washing forms.
• Learn and follow all safety procedures.
• Freeze and defrost product; readjust 60-pound stick of meat on rack.
• Maintain clean work area; wash and sanitize room and equipment as needed.
• Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF requirements.
• Perform all positions of job rotation as needed.
• Perform any other work as assigned by management.
