About The Position

About the Role & Program Disney has explored new worlds through magical storytelling since its first completely live-action film, Treasure Island in 1950. Across pirate-laden high-seas or down a mysterious rabbit hole, Disney’s collaborations with renowned artists and filmmakers has produced some of the most successful live-action family films in history, including the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, Cruella, Mufasa: The Lion King, and Lilo & Stitch, with more extraordinary stories on the horizon. The Studio Production Finance department is looking for an intern to support the full life-cycle financial management of Disney’s live action slate of productions! If selected for this role, you will report to the Director of Budgeting & Financial Analysis.

Requirements

  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), PowerBi, Tableau, and/or MicroStrategy
  • Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Proven presentation skills
  • Previous entertainment industry experience
  • Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:
  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
  • Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Possess unrestricted work authorization
  • Must provide full work availability from June through August 2026.
  • Must provide own housing and transportation, position is located in Burbank, CA.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in film or television production
  • Currently pursuing a graduate degree or MBA with a focus in entertainment Finance or related area

Responsibilities

  • Provide financial analysis related to historical trends, spend forecasts, domestic and international production incentives and feature film budgets
  • Assist with feature film budgeting and forecasting production costs
  • Assist executives in day-to-day production finance activities and build ad hoc projects for studio leadership
