About The Position

Intrinsic Development is gearing up to launch our first YogaSix Studio at Discovery Park Lee's Summit. As open draws near, we are looking to hire a Studio Manager who will become the cornerstone of our YogaSix studio, responsible for its financial and experiential success. Our Studio Manager will be the proverbial captain of the ship, overseeing all aspects of studio functionality including Sales and Operations as well as the direct supervision of Wellness Advisors and Teachers. They are also responsible for ensuring the studio is well-maintained and that customer service standards are upheld to YogaSix standards. They must have a passion for sales & customer service, take pride in their excellent communication skills, be a dedicated team leader who drives results, and be passionate about health and wellness.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of retail, service, or fitness sales experience.
  • Proven ability to drive revenue, generate leads, and train others in sales.
  • Experience supervising and coaching a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service skills; able to stay professional and composed under pressure.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members and the public.
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and excel in a fast- paced environment.
  • Highly organized, detail- oriented, and trustworthy with confidential information.
  • Proficient in computers and studio management software.
  • Work hours may exceed 8 hours/ day or 40 hours/ week, including nights and weekends.
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods, bend, lift ( up to 30 lbs), kneel, reach, climb stairs, and drive.
  • Vision and hearing sufficient to perform essential job functions, including close, distance, peripheral vision, and depth perception.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow all revenue streams: memberships, retail, workshops, privates, and teacher trainings.
  • Generate and follow up on leads via grassroots marketing, social media, and referrals.
  • Book appointments, convert prospects to members, and ensure proper onboarding for new members.
  • Work with Studio Owner and Director of Education to optimize class schedules.
  • Develop and execute marketing plans focused on new client acquisition, retention, and loyalty.
  • Participate in weekly grassroots marketing initiatives and manage social media content.
  • Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and mentor Wellness Advisors.
  • Recruit, onboard, coordinate training, and support Teachers ( with lead teacher assistance).
  • Provide ongoing coaching to ensure high performance and alignment with brand standards.
  • Oversee studio budget, expenses, and reporting.
  • Manage maintenance, inventory, and overall studio cleanliness.
  • Participate in studio, regional, and corporate meetings and trainings.
  • Collaborate with Studio Owner and Corporate Office to ensure studio health and profitability.
