About The Position

Orangetheory Fitness is a science-backed, technology-tracked, coach-inspired group workout designed to produce results from the inside out. Position Summary The Studio Manager is responsible for the overall performance and daily operations of the studio. This role leads sales, staff development, member experience, and operational execution. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, holds teams accountable, and takes ownership of studio results.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of management experience (fitness, retail, hospitality, or sales preferred)
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and hold a team accountable
  • Strong sales background with goal-driven mindset
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Orangetheory Fitness experience
  • Experience managing sales teams or membership-based businesses
  • Familiarity with Mindbody or similar CRM systems

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, hire, train, and manage front desk staff and sales associates
  • Provide ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and accountability
  • Create staff schedules to meet business and studio needs
  • Foster a positive, professional, and high-energy studio culture
  • Collaborate with Head Coach on studio needs and coverage as issues arise
  • Drive membership sales, upgrades, and retention
  • Set and monitor sales goals and KPIs for the team
  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly performance reviews
  • Execute corporate and local marketing initiatives
  • Analyze reports and take action to improve studio performance
  • Oversee all daily studio operations and ensure brand standards are met
  • Ensure exceptional member experience from first visit through long-term retention
  • Address member concerns, escalations, and feedback professionally and promptly
  • Maintain studio cleanliness, safety, and operational readiness
  • Ensure policies, procedures, and compliance standards are followed
  • Manage payroll, timekeeping, and scheduling systems
  • Maintain accurate membership and billing records
  • Communicate effectively with ownership and regional leadership
  • Ensure studio readiness during unexpected absences or operational challenges
