Student Worker - Temporary - Sunset Bay
About The Position
As a temporary Student Worker for Sunset Bay State Park management unit, you will primarily work in the Shore Acres State Park booth, greeting visitors, informing visitors about the park, cash handling, and helping visitors get day passes. You may also assist and work in partnership with park rangers, volunteers, and hosts in performing park maintenance tasks. Duties include but are not limited to janitorial work, landscape maintenance, interpretation, and visitor services. This opportunity is only open to students that are currently enrolled at least half-time in high school. This position is estimated to work mid-June to September.
Requirements
- Must be enrolled at least half-time in high school
- A criminal record and driving record check must be completed that meets OPRD Criteria at the time of hire, and throughout employment
- Maintaining a valid drivers license
