About The Position

The Arkansas Division of the National Consortium for Teaching about Asia (ARNCTA) is seeking applications for a paid 8-week summer internship, lasting from May 1 – June 26, 2026. ARNCTA is part of a decades-long, nationwide initiative to improve teaching and learning about East Asia in K-12 classrooms. During the summer, ARNCTA dedicates itself to hosting focused professional development sessions for teachers, developing new curriculum materials, and maintaining an active database of materials on its website (arncta.com). The student internship requires a 10-hour per-week commitment, but specific work hours may be flexible depending on the intern’s schedule.
