About The Position

The Advocacy and Resource Center (ARC) provides students the personal support and assistance they need to succeed in college. One of the services is the Commodore Cupboard, a Lorain County Community College food pantry available to students and the community. We seek student workers in various capacities in The Advocacy and Resource Center (ARC) office and the food pantry. Please review the Student Eligibility Requirements. Responsibilities

  • Greeting clients and patrons, serving as the first point of contact, and welcoming visitors, registering, signing in, and helping people to access services.
  • Performing office duties, including answering the phone, making copies, assisting with campus events, cleaning, stocking, data entry, and maintaining strict confidentiality.
