About The Position

The Academic Support and Student Success Department is recruiting for a part-time student worker for the Total Learning Center to begin January 5, 2026. This position is responsible for providing logistical support to the staff in the Total Learning Center in the delivery of academic support services as well as assisting in responding to student inquiries while fostering an environment of exceptional customer service.

Requirements

  • Enrollment in a minimum of 6 credit hours in the Fall and Spring semesters and 3 credit hours in the summer
  • English proficiency
  • Demonstrated proficiency in written and oral communication skills
  • Friendly and professional attitude and good interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to establish and meet timelines
  • Ability to function as a team player who is dependable, punctual, organized, and detail-oriented

Responsibilities

  • Assist with performing office duties such as answering phones, greeting students, monitoring email, and entering data as needed
  • Assist students with signing in to the learning lab and answer general questions related to the Total Learning Center
  • Assist with the scheduling of appointments
  • Maintain a clean, stocked snack area
  • Assist with preparation for events
  • Maintain office bulletin boards, handouts, and promotional materials
  • Follow all FERPA guidelines
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
