As a Transportation Assistant, you are a vital part of the safety team. You’ll ride along with our drivers to ensure students have a safe, comfortable, and positive environment on the bus.

Requirements

• Heart for Kids: A patient, kind, and firm-but-fair attitude toward children of all ages.

• Communication: Ability to communicate clearly with drivers, school staff, and parents.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Assist Students: Help students board and exit the bus safely, particularly those with special needs or younger children.
• Maintain Safety: Monitor student behavior and ensure everyone stays seated and safe while the bus is in motion.
• Be a Buddy: Build positive relationships with students and act as a helpful guide during their commute.
• Collaborate: Work closely with our professional drivers to manage the bus environment effectively.
