About The Position

Looking for Student Teachers for Fall 2026 $5000 Stipend included! Key Responsibilities: Collaborates with the mentor teacher to plan and implement daily lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards. Instructs students in whole-class, small-group, and individual settings. Uses various instructional strategies and technologies to support diverse learners. Assesses student progress through formal and informal assessments. Reflects on teaching practices and participate in regular feedback sessions with the mentor teacher and university supervisor. Manages classroom behavior effectively and create a safe, inclusive learning environment. Participates in staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and school events when appropriate. Maintains confidentiality and follow school policies and ethical standards in education. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Passion for teaching and commitment to student success. Willingness to receive constructive feedback and apply it to improve teaching practice.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a teacher education program required.
  • Completion of relevant coursework in pedagogy, child development, and curriculum design required.
