About The Position

The Student Support Coordinator supports children and families while building a strong foundation in social work practice. In this community-based role, you will play an essential part in addressing the social-emotional and behavioral needs of youth and strengthening family engagement. Requirements

Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW), Mental Health Counseling, or related field required (Licensure and SIFI preferred).
BSW with 3+ years of relevant experience may be considered.
Minimum of two (2) years’ experience working with youth and families in case management, behavioral support, and family engagement.
Bilingual in Spanish is required.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
Knowledge of youth development and family engagement models.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
Comfort with data collection and using data to inform practice.
Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

Maintain an active caseload and provide individual and group counseling sessions.
Support students’ social-emotional development and behavioral growth.
Coach and guide after-school staff by modeling effective youth engagement and management strategies.
Enhance program quality by implementing SEL curriculum and contributing to staff training.
Connect youth and families to community-based services and external providers.
Lead family engagement events such as literacy nights, workshops, and parenting sessions.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with QCH and funder requirements.
Participate in evaluation and continuous improvement efforts.
