Under the general direction of the Associate Dean, the incumbent plays a critical role in academic success and retention of students in the College of Humanities, Arts, Behavioral and Social Sciences. The incumbent utilizes interpersonal and analytical skills to work closely with students and academic policies to address student academic issues and recommend solutions that support retention and graduation. Solutions often require careful coordination with faculty, the Associate Dean, and colleagues in Student Affairs. The incumbent also supports various Dean's Office initiatives and services that promote student academic success. Student Success Professional (Student Services Professional III) This is a full-time, exempt position, which will lead toward permanent status following the successful completion of a probationary period.
