About The Position
This is a remote job that requires someone who is detail-oriented to listen to the interview audio files which Dr. Yan-Gonzalez will provide and correct a transcript which has already been generated through software by fixing incorrect speaker names, words, and noting other details that may be inaccurate or unclear.
Requirements
- Little to minimal prior experience.
- Ability to learn departmental processes.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
Responsibilities
- Provide guidance on the research relevance of handwritten Chinese-language archival sources already collected by Dr. Yan-Gonzalez
- Translate selected handwritten Chinese-language archival sources already collected by Dr. Yan-Gonzalez
