About The Position

The Student Research Assistant position in Internal Medicine, specifically within the IM Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism department, involves basic and routine responsibilities. These duties may include performing administrative tasks in an office setting, assisting in a research laboratory, and providing support to faculty and staff in academic programs or patient care. The role requires excellent customer service and strong organizational skills, with the expectation that the Student Assistant will represent the department and the university with the highest degree of integrity, adhering to The Ohio State University's mission and shared values. Training is a mandatory component of this position, and it is important to note that this training time is not included in the paid hours. The position is temporary (fixed term), with 15 scheduled hours on the first shift, and is located at the Pelotonia Research Center. Final candidates will undergo a background check, and a drug screen or physical may be required post-offer.
