About The Position

Under the supervision of the Student Pastor, innovate, shape, oversee, and lead the development and implementation of all aspects of the COF High School Ministry from 6 th -12 th grade.

5+ years of experience in working closely with and leading students
5+ years of experience in working closely with and leading volunteers

Responsibilities

Supporting and fulfilling the vision, values and goals of COF
Demonstrate loyalty and integrity, supporting the unity of the church and its leadership.
Understand and align with the main vision of COF, promoting that vision within COFS.
Assist in the direction of special events and programming under the direction of the Student Pastor.
Assist in the direction and implementation of Sunday and Wednesday Student experiences under the leading of the Student Pastor.
Seek to create engaging, biblically sound, purpose-filled experiences for families and students in our church.
Work to equip parents to be spiritual leaders/teachers of their own students through training, classes, special events, and resource creation.
Assign responsibilities to adult leaders to ensure that the service environment is secure and productive.
Organize ProPresenter songs based on the setlist in Planning Center Online.
Assist in the development and cultivation of the social media reach of COFS.
Create graphics and videos to help support COFS as a whole .
Assist to recruit, train, lead and develop COFS volunteers.
Manage all social media platforms of COFS, including posting and engagement.
Implement quality standards for all COFS volunteers to ensure the safety of all students.
Create a volunteer culture with a set of behaviors, terms, and values to ensure the optimal COF Student Ministry experience.
Ensure consistency in all systems and procedures each Wednesday and for Small Groups on Sundays.
Ensure the timely follow-up of all contacts including conversations, Planning Center, phone calls, emails, and social media contacts for COFS.
Ensure the timely follow-up of all first time guests as well as students and volunteers who are absent on Wednesdays and Sundays.
Establish and maintain relationships with the Director of Security (DOS) who assists with security measures.
Develop/Maintain communication with other ministry teams to ensure a seamless experience for COFS.
Develop/Maintain communication with COF staff to serve as a resource for them.
Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
Anything else assigned by the Student Pastor/Next Gen Pastor.
