About The Position

Collaboratively oversee the day-to-day operations of the Memorial Union & Student Activities, while serving as the liaison between the university and approximately 200 recognized student organizations, focused primarily on student organization management including but not limited to student organization infrastructure, leadership development, event planning, finance management, travel, etc. Supervise the student employees of the MUB Office and Games Room.

Requirements

• Ability to deal effectively with the public, students, faculty, staff, and external agencies.
• Ability to work on a flexible basis when activities fall outside of normal working hours.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse populations and a sustained commitment to supporting inclusion and equity.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree in related field.
• Knowledge of student and leadership development theories and practices.
• An understanding of the role of the student union and its programs.
• Knowledge of and experience with college student organizations and their needs.
• Direct supervisory experience.
• Experience in development and presentation of workshops, classes, and training.
