Student Nurse Summer CNA Program
About The Position
Stamford Health is seeking rising senior nursing students for its Summer CNA Program! Those accepted into the program are hired as a full-time Clinical Assistant on one of our units. There, they will gain experience working in a hospital setting and increase confidence in their clinical skills! Choose between Float Pool, MCH, ED, and Critical Care units. Only 10 spaces are available, so apply early! Program Dates: May 31 - August 31 Paid Mandatory Orientation May 29 and June 1, 7:30am - 3:30pm Additional 8-hour paid shifts of unit-based orientation during the week of June 1 Schedule: 3 12-hour shifts/week Weekend requirements 6 shifts per 6-week schedule
Requirements
- Completed ADLs as part of nursing school clinical rotations
- BLS or Heart Saver certification
