Reporting to the Director of Student Life, the Student Life and Services Specialist is responsible for assisting in creating a dynamic, robust campus life experience for all students. Under the supervisor of the Director of Student Life and Services, the Student Life and Services Specialist will oversee Fraternity and Sorority Life, Campus Activities Board, Graduate Student Government Association and the Student Budget Request Committee providing oversight, training and mentoring students, and providing support designed to enhance the growth, learning, and success of all students. The Student Life and Services Specialist also work closely with faculty and staff advisors of fraternity and sororities, serving as a guide and resource. The Student Life and Services Specialist assess student engagement trends and collaborates with the Director of Student Life, university departments and community organizations to develop an engagement plan that is responsive to the interests, needs, and concerns of students and is aligned with the mission, goals and policies of the University and the Office of Student Life and Services.
