About The Position

WPS, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking a Student - Outdoor Maintenance (Student Laborer-Plant/Hydro) in our Crivitz, Wisconsin location.

This position will start in May or June, works full-time, 7:00am - 3:00pm Monday - Friday during the summer months.Job SummaryStudent Laborers perform duties (i.e. Coal & Yard, Indoor Cleaning & Maintenance, Outdoor Maintenance, etc.) as assigned by the department. Student laborers work may be performed in the power plants, hydro plants, service center, warehouse, and other field locations.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High School diploma, GED, or HSED
• Enrolled as a part-time/full-time student pursuing a technical, associate, bachelor, or master degree
• Valid driver’s license and meet the company’s requirements for driving

Responsibilities

• Coal & Yard (e.g. mow lawns, trim weeds, paint guards, clean & organize garage/shop, etc.)
• Indoor Cleaning & Maintenance (e.g. dusting, sweeping, painting, equipment/facility cleaning & maintenance, unloading & loading warehouse products, garbage removal, general cleaning, etc.)
• Outdoor Maintenance (e.g. yard maintenance/planting, lawn mowing, painting, wash/dry vehicles, equipment, & facilities, basic landscaping, window washing, etc.)
• All other laborer duties as assigned (e.g. support hydro mechanics as needed.)
