About The Position

Functions as a Student Laboratory Assistant providing basic and general laboratory operational and clerical support to the Auditory Electrophysiology Laboratory within the Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. The Assistant will help with patient recruitment, scheduling and testing, patients’ travel arrangements, subject reimbursement filling and tracking, data collection and analysis, and assist with miscellaneous administrative duties as needed.

Requirements

• High School Graduate or equivalency required
• must be enrolled in a degree-granting program at OSU
• experience operating personal computer and other office equipment required
• Requires successful completion of a background check

Nice To Haves

• familiarity with basic office practices and skills desired
• a valid Ohio Driver's license desired
• Major in Speech and Hearing, Biomedical engineering or Computer Engineering
• A GPA (high school or college) greater than 3.5
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong communication skills
