About The Position

This full-time Student Intern position at Levine Children’s Specialty Center Pulmonology involves performing duties such as patient and family visits, delivering support services, assisting with studies, investigations, and research projects. The role also includes administrative coverage of the office, which entails answering phones, maintaining computer data, typing documents, creating spreadsheets and presentations, assisting with data analysis, and filing. Effective verbal and written communication with all levels within the System and the public is essential. Requirements

  • High School, Undergraduate, Master's or Postgraduate enrollment required.
  • Excellent planning, prioritizing, oral/written communication, interpersonal, problem solving, and team skills required.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a team member.
  • Ability to respond creatively to a rapidly changing environment.
  • Computer skills required.

Responsibilities

  • Performs duties including patient and family visits, delivery of support services, studies, investigations, research projects, and other assignments.
  • Provides administrative coverage of the office such as answering phone and maintaining computer data.
  • Types documents such as letters and creates spreadsheets and presentations.
  • Assists with research projects, data analysis, and/or creating various reports.
  • Assists with entering data and filing.
  • Communicates verbally and in writing with all levels within the System and with the public.
