The NC Department of Adult Correction (NCDAC) Summer Internship Program offers a paid, 9–10-week experience designed to provide students with meaningful, hands-on exposure to public service and state government operations. Interns will contribute to mission-critical projects across multiple divisions, gaining practical skills in areas such as human resources, finance, purchasing, IT, communications, education services, and compliance. This program is ideal for students pursuing degrees in criminal justice, public administration, business, accounting, healthcare, IT, engineering, social work, and related fields.
